The short version: by default, Nth collects nothing. It has one optional feature — Friends — and if you choose to join it, Nth stores a nickname you pick and your daily counts so your friends can see them. Nothing else leaves your device, ever.
By default, nothing. Nth has no analytics, no advertising SDKs, no crash reporting, and no tracking. We never see your browsing, your identity, or your social media logins.
If you choose to join Friends (entirely optional — the app works fully without it), Nth creates an anonymous account for you and stores, on our backend:
There is no email, phone number, or real name involved — the account is anonymous, tied only to a random identifier. This information is used solely to show you and the friends you add your shared weekly standings. It is never sold, never shared with third parties, and never used for advertising or tracking.
Your daily budget, watch counts, per-app time, streak history, and the identifiers of videos already counted today are stored locally on your device only, and are erased when you delete the app.
Inside the Friends screen, “Leave & delete my data” permanently removes your nickname, friend code, counts, and friendships from our backend. Deleting the app removes everything stored on your device.
Nth is a browser: it displays the mobile websites of services such as Instagram and YouTube. When you browse those sites, you interact with them directly under your own account and their own terms of service and privacy policies — exactly as you would in Safari. Nth does not intercept, store, or transmit your credentials or your activity on those sites; login cookies are held by the operating system's web view on your device.
Nth is an independent app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta, YouTube, or Google.
